🚧 Racine’s Main Street Reconstruction Is Underway
Heads up if you travel through Racine’s North Main Street! A major reconstruction project kicked off this week. From Goold Street to Augusta Street, it’s full closure time—so you’ll want to follow the marked detours. It’s a big project, but the city’s aiming to have this stretch wrapped up by June 21, just in time for the Lighthouse Run and the Fourth of July festivities.
🚨Graffiti Incidents Spark Concern
Over the past few days, residents in a Racine neighborhood reported graffiti and vandalism on garages—apparently involving juveniles, according to early reports. The incidents were captured on surveillance footage, and police are actively investigating. It’s a reminder of how important community engagement and neighborhood awareness are to keeping Racine vibrant and safe.
